Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026.
In short
You don't need to sign up or log in. The invoices, customers, products and settings you create are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, described below.
What stays in your browser
Invoice records, saved customers, products, your business profile, logo, chosen template, theme, default currency and numbering preferences are saved in your browser's local storage under names starting with "lumara.". We don't receive this data.
- Records are not synchronized between devices or browsers, and we keep no backup copy.
- If you accept advertising on the Create Invoice page, the ad network's script runs on that page and could in principle read what it contains, including invoice details you type and records saved in your browser. We do not send it that data and cannot control its code. Decline advertising cookies if that concerns you.
- You or your browser can clear this storage at any time, and private browsing may not keep it. Use Export Data on the My Invoices page to keep your own backup.
- PDFs, printouts and backup files you create are saved or printed where you choose. We never see them.
What our hosting provider may collect
This site is hosted by Hostinger. Web servers typically log your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request, for security and operation. We don't use these logs to identify individual people and don't use them for advertising.
Cookies, analytics, ads and third parties
- Our own code sets no cookies. We use CookieYes, a third-party consent tool, to ask for your cookie choices. Its script loads from cdn-cookieyes.com on every page, remembers your choice in a cookie, and may record your choice and technical details such as an identifier and IP address in its own logs. See the Cookie Policy and CookieYes's privacy policy.
- We use no analytics or tracking services of our own.
- The Create Invoice page can show one advertisement below the invoice tool. It comes from a third-party advertising network (the script is served from profitableratecpmnetwork.com) and is loaded only after you accept advertising cookies in the cookie banner (or, if the banner cannot load, after you click "Show ads"). If you do, that network may receive your IP address, browser and device details and the page address, and may set cookies or use similar technology to show and measure ads. The ad runs as a script on the Create Invoice page itself. We don't send it your invoice data, but a third-party script on a page can in principle read what the page contains, including invoice details you type and invoices saved in your browser, and we cannot control or inspect its code. If that concerns you, decline advertising cookies in the banner (the ad script then never loads) or avoid entering sensitive details on that page. Ads never appear on invoices, PDFs or printouts. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer (or "Change ad choice" under the ad, if shown), or by clearing this site's data. Please read the network's own privacy policy too.
- Fonts are served from this site, not from Google or another font service.
- The Share button hands a text summary to the sharing app you choose. The Email button opens your email app with a draft. Lumara never sends email for you.
- If we add analytics or advertising later, we will update this page first and describe what is collected.
Advertising
Advertising is limited to the Create Invoice page, is shown only if you agree, and never appears inside invoices or PDFs. If more ad areas or other services are added, this policy will be updated first. [OWNER REVIEW: check the ad network's current terms, name the provider here, and confirm the consent wording meets the rules that apply to your visitors.]
Who runs this site
[OWNER REVIEW: add the legal name and contact details of the site operator, and confirm the hosting and logging details against your hosting account.]
